Returns
We have a 30-day return policy on most items, this means you have 30 days from the delivery date postmarked to submit your request for a return (or exchange) via our Return Request Form seen here. As long as you have officially requested your return (or exchange) within 30 days from receiving your item(s), and have followed the instructions below, we will most likely be able to process your return. At this time customers approved to mail in a return/exchange are responsible for a flat $4.99 Shipping Fee. Each product in our online shop will be listed as available for returns or not directly on their listing. For just a little longer, all printed on demand orders are unavailable for returns/exchanges because they are environmentally made to order, but these items are available for a free reprint and delivery however if simply received damaged or incorrect (see below).
To be eligible for a return and refund, your item must be listed on our website as available for returns at the time it was purchased, in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and with all it’s tags still attached in their original form. It is not necessary to mail your returns back in the original packaging you received your items in, however if returned items are received back to us damaged upon delivery then your return will no longer be issued.
You must have proof of receipt with your order number and date of purchase to request a return via our Return Request Form.
To request a return, please fill out the Return Request Form above. In the body of this form please include the concern or issue, the order number, date of purchase, and proof of receipt. We will respond as soon as possible to let you know if your return is approved and what steps will occur next to ship back your items and receive your refund (or exchange). You can typically expect us to respond to your return request within 1-3 business days.
If your return request is accepted, we will email you a return shipping label and flat $4.99 shipping fee invoice, as well as instructions on how and where to ship your package. Items sent back to us without first completing the invoice will not be accepted upon arrival to our address. Once your physically returned item(s) has been received, we will notify you and process your refund, begin your exchange, or issue your store credit. You are always able to accept your refund as Marigold Moon store credit, and avoid a $4.99 shipping fee (please read Exchanges below). Please understand returns take time while we have to connect with your individual bank to proceed. Please contact us directly for any delay or concern with your requested and approved refund via our Contact Page or direct email.
Please note that returns will need to be physically sent with all items included, in the previously mentioned conditions, to the mailing address you will receive on your shipping label. We will not accept any return or exchange mailed to a different address than the one listed on the shipping label provided. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work hard to fine tune our policies in our small business beginnings.
Refunds
To be eligible for a refund you must follow the instructions above to submit and be approved for a return. Please make sure to select the “Return for Refund” option on your Return Request Form to begin this process. After following the necessary instructions, we will then notify you once we’ve physically received and inspected your approved returned items to let you know if your refund can be issued. (Items received damaged, missing, or incorrect back to us will no longer be eligible) Once your refund is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded back to your original payment method and should receive within 10 business days of being notified of your refund approval. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account, and that is why we have provided this estimation. You are also able to accept your refund as Marigold Moon online store credit and avoid a $4.99 return shipping fee (please see Exchanges below).
If after we have approved your physically mailed return and you have not seen your refund back to your original form of payment within 14 business days, please reach out to us so we can correct the issue immediately and contact banks or credit cards if we need to. Thank you for understanding that we send our deepest apologies for this inconvenience. We tend to correct this problem for you as soon as possible and thank you for your patience if this occurs.
Damages and Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately via the Return Request Form if the item is defective, damaged, or if you have received the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and correct it for you as soon as possible. If your item is defective, damaged, or the wrong item was sent we will send you a free shipping label to kindly mail the incorrect item back to us (free of charge), while we simultaneously work on reprinting or resending your items to you as soon as possible. Once we receive the physical order back to our address, we will ship your corrected item(s) back to you immediately free of charge. Please select the “Damaged/Incorrect Item” option on your Return Request Form to begin this process.
Exchanges
We accept exchanges (excluding damages) if you are needing to exchange your purchased item for the exact same item and exact same quantity in either a different size or different color. We also except exchanges if you would simply like to exchange your items for others on our website. Please select the “Exchange” option on your Return Request Form to begin this process. If your exchange is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and $4.99 shipping invoice, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange and having your exchange accepted will not be taken upon arrival. Once your physical return has been received we will process your exchange and either ship your exchanged item(s) to you within 3-5 business days, or issue you your chosen option of online store credit (this will avoid a $4.99 shipping fee!). Please contact us directly for any delay or concern with your requested and approved exchange via our Contact Page or email address.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on most print. on demand items, sale items, or gift cards (coming soon) or items requested outside of these policies.
Print on Demand Items Only:
To Attept to Cancel or Alter Your Order Before Shipment
to alter or cancel your printed on demand or Etsy order before it is sent to production
Certain products of ours are printed on demand per order through our partner Printify (listed in the product listing). This means that if you ordered an item printed on demand, we will not be able to accept refunds or returns on it if you have ordered the incorrect size or color. However, if you have received a damaged item or an incorrect item than seen on the order form then you are eligible for a free reprint and delivery of your corrected item(s) ordered. We will work as efficiently as possible with Printify to deliver your correctly ordered item(s) as soon as possible. When you follow the instructions provided in your order emails and submit a request for a return because of a damage or missing item you will communicate directly with our partners at Printify for quickest delivery of your correct item(s). We will then work together for ultimate customer satisfaction. Please read below for a specific message regarding returning with Printify and how a refund is processed:
"Printify is a print-on-demand company, which means that all products are unique and produced only once ordered. This also means that returns and exchanges are not supported if your customer ordered the wrong size, color, or simply changed their mind.
However, in case of a damaged product or a manufacturing error, Printify offers a free reprint or a possible refund if you contact them properly within 30 days of product delivery. Please get in touch with their team using your instructions provided in your confirmation and order emails, or use this “Submit issue form" information and provide a clear photo showing the issue. There is no need to return the damaged product.
Note:
Refunds are issued to your Printify account balance. You can withdraw this amount to transfer it back to the original payment method. However, if your selected billing currency is not United States Dollar (USD), please note that the refund will be returned directly to the original payment source.
If there’s an issue affecting multiple products that use the same design, an additional photo (or video) of all affected items visible in one frame will be required for confirmation purposes.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is automatically calculated for each order based on the “ship to” address, specifically the zip code, by our printing partner Printify. The exact sales tax percentage varies not only by state but also within different areas of the same state. Sales tax is calculated based on the Printify production price (or the final retail price for California). In some states, the shipping fee is also taxable.
Printify will only collect sales tax in the states where we are registered in the US, including cases where merchants sell to US-based customers from abroad—in other words, when an order is imported into the US.
